1. What mediums do you use to express yourself?
   I'm into creating stuff using a mix of physical and digital materials. You'll mostly find me in the NFT scene, showcasing and selling my digital creations. I also dabble in acrylic paintings and scan my engravings to exhibit and sell them as NFTs. Oh, and sometimes I get creative by scanning cool sketches from my sketchbook and bringing them to life using the Procreate program. It's like a fusion of both the physical and digital worlds.
   
   [TR] Hem fiziksel hem de dijital malzemelerle eserler üretiyorum. NFT ortamında çoğunlukla dijital çalışmalarımı sergiliyor ve satışını gerçekleştiriyorum. Ancak aynı zamanda akrilik ve gravür çalışmalarımın taranmış görüntülerini de NFT dünyasında sergiledim be sattım. Bazen eskiz defterimde çizdiğim figürleri taratıp, Procreate programıyla fiziksel ve dijital birleştirmeler de yapıyorum.

2. Are you a Solo or Collaborative artist?
   I primarily focus on creating individual works, occasionally collaborating with fellow artists when my schedule permits. I have indeed engaged in collaborations in the past, and I intend to expand these collaborative endeavors in the future as part of my artistic growth.
   
   [TR] Çoğunlukla bireysel işler ürettim. Ancak müsaitlik durumuma göre birkaç sanatçı ile iş birliği yaptım. İlerleyen zamanlarda bu iş birliklerini arttırmayı düşünüyorum.

3. How do you/your perception of art differ from others?
   While I don't measure my artistic endeavors in comparison to others, I possess a strong academic foundation that allows me to effectively express myself. I meticulously craft compositions, drawing inspiration from the rich history of art, which has undeniably influenced my creative approach. I not only study the works of renowned masters but also stay current with contemporary artists whom I admire, constantly learning and deriving valuable insights from their techniques and perspectives. By remaining dedicated to ongoing learning, I strive to reinforce the authenticity and originality of my artistic practice.
   
   [TR] Kimse ile bir kıyas içerisinde değilim ancak kendimi ifade etmek adına akademik temelim ışığında kompozisyonlar oluşturmaya özen gösteriyorum. Sanat tarihinde adını duyurmuş ustaların yanı sıra günümüzde takip ettiğim sanatçıları da izliyorum ve onlardan birçok şey öğrenerek kendimi güncel tutma çabası içerisindeyim. Sürekli öğrenmeye devam ediyorum. Bu şekilde sanatımı özgün tutmayı güçlendiriyorum.

4. Is there a fav artist or an artwork that inspired you/your style?
   I draw immense inspiration from the masterful portraiture of Rembrandt, a prominent figure in the realm of Baroque art. Studying his adept use of light has greatly informed my own artistic journey. The expressive brushwork evident in Vincent Van Gogh's canvases resonates with my own approach to creating lines and textures. Additionally, the social realist art movement, championed by Russian painter Ilya Repin, has significantly influenced my artistic perspective, to the extent that it became the subject of my thesis. Particularly, Repin's notable work, "Barge Haulers on the Volga" left a profound impression on me, cementing my admiration for his artistic prowess.
   
   [TR] Barok sanatının usta ismi Rembrandt ve onun portre eserleri. Ondan ışığı öğrenmeye çalışıyorum. Vincent Van Gogh un tuvallerindeki fırça darbeleri benim çizgilerimdir.

   Ve son olarak Rus ressam Ilya Repin’nin toplumsal gerçekçi sanat yaklaşımı yüksek lisans tezimin konusunu belirlememe kadar beni etkilemiştir. Özellikle “Volga da Sal Çekicileri” adlı eseri beni çok etkilemiştir.

5. What was the last Exhibition you visited?
   I am proud to have participated in a group exhibition titled "Unity," which was organized in collaboration with esteemed educators from the faculty of fine arts during my tenure as an assistant. This exhibition holds a special place in my artistic journey, representing a collective effort and a celebration of artistic camaraderie.
   
   [TR] Asistanlık yaptığım güzel sanatlar fakültesinin eğitimcileri ile açtığımız “Birlik” isimli kendi karma sergimdir.

6. What does Innovation mean to you?
   For me, innovation signifies a constant process of updating and staying abreast of the latest developments. It represents an ongoing commitment to embrace new ideas, techniques, and perspectives that push the boundaries of artistic expression.
   
   [TR] Benim için yenilik, sürekli bir güncelleme ve en son gelişmelerden haberdar olma sürecini, sanatsal ifadenin sınırlarını zorlayan yeni fikirleri, teknikleri ve bakış açılarını benimsemek için devam eden bir taahhüdü temsil ediyor.

7. Are you familiar with Web3 /NFTs/Crypto?
   While I cannot claim to possess exhaustive knowledge of the concept, I have gained valuable experience in this evolving environment over the course of a year and a half. It is a continuous learning journey for me, as I remain dedicated to staying updated and familiarizing myself with the latest developments in the field.
   
   [TR] Konsept hakkında kapsamlı bilgiye sahip olduğumu iddia edemesem de, bu gelişen ortamda bir buçuk yıl boyunca değerli deneyimler kazandım. Kendimi güncel kalmaya ve alandaki en son gelişmelere aşina olmaya adadığım için, bu benim için sürekli bir öğrenme yolculuğu.

8. Is AI your Enemy or Friend?
   I hold no opposition towards AI itself. What concerns me, however, is the application of AI by individuals unrelated to the realm of art, who hastily label themselves as artists based on an image generated within mere seconds. Instrongly oppose this frivolous and thoughtless utilization of AI, as it renders it devoid of purpose. Conversely, I recognize that in the hands of trained professionals, AI has the potential to elevate art into an entirely new dimension. When employed consciously and skillfully, AI can be a powerful tool in contemporary art, representing one of the transformative changes occurring in our world. I firmly believe that by adhering to a thoughtful and discerning approach, it is possible to produce high-quality and genuinely original works through the judicious use of AI.
   
   [TR] AI karşıtı biri değilim. Tek karşı olduğum nokta, sanatla hiçbir ilgisi olmayan kişilerin AI kullanarak kendilerini üç saniyede oluşturdukları bir görselle sanatçı olarak tanımlamalarıdır. Buna karşı sert bir duruşum var. Ancak AI’ ın kötü ve bilinçsizce kullanılması, onun yararsız olduğu anlamına gelmez. Tam aksine, bir sanat okulunda veya kendi kendini sanat alanında eğitmiş bireylerin elinde AI, sanatın bambaşka bir boyuta evrilebilir. Bu, günümüz sanat

9. Please tell us a bit about a recent piece of the art world that has particularly interested you.
   I am a fan of searchsignal ‘s work. I find great joy and profound inspiration in the remarkable emotional depth and intricate quality of figures portrayed in his artworks. Whether in physical or digital form, his body of work possesses a captivating allure that resonates with me deeply. The mastery displayed in his use of line work is particularly enchanting to my artistic sensibilities.
